PRESENTING... CHRISTMAS HORSE 4

You thought Bepis was dead after Christmas Horse 3?? Well, Bepis has woken up in the Elves' HQ and needs to escape. Search the facilities, discover danger and secrets, and make your way out of enemy territory!

DEVELOPMENT

I actually started on CH4 during November this year, but did a majority of the game development in December. In November, I got a basic "click to move between maps" sort of thing set up, and I've been iterating on it over the weeks. I'm never quite sure what I'm making ahead of time beyond some little ideas of what I might want to include, so it was quite fun figuring out ways to build out CH4 as a point-and-click style game, which I haven't done before! (Granted, if I were making a full adventure game, I'd probably use AGS instead of my own engine.)

I did post some videos to YouTube outlining some of my development work this year, though once I got the core mechanics in place I mostly just focused on doing the art and design and polish. You can find the YouTube videos for all Christmas Horse games here:
