๐Ÿฆ•๐Ÿฆ• The new Rawr Rinth! ๐Ÿฆ•๐Ÿฆ•

Rawr Rinth is currently under development, but is being designed to be a turn-based, single-screen puzzle game. Rawr the Sauropod was minding her own business with her dinosaur wife and their many egg babies in the early Jurassic. One day, a capitalist from far off in the future uses their new time traveling technology to travel back in time to abduct Rawr, Rawr's wife (to be named), and all the eggs to make a profit off of in the future.

Play as Rawr as you escape the laboratory. Scour the city looking for your eggs and wife at restaurants, pet stores, and zoo. Maybe even smash up some corporate HQs before finding a way to time travel home back to safety.

๐Ÿ’ป Currently under development! ๐Ÿ’ป

Team:Being created by the MOM team: Moosadee, Opusbot, and Murdoom , all from the Kansas City metro area! ๐Ÿ„
Platforms:PC (Windows/Linux*)
Tools:C++ and SFML (programming), Tiled (map creation), Aseprite and GIMP (art), ??? (music)
Open Source?:The chalo engine is currently open source and will be updated throughout the development of Rawr Rinth.
Rawr Rinth will be made open source sooner or later -- perhaps after a bit of time after original release. Rachel is very passionate about open source so the source code will eventually be available.
Schedule:There is no release day planned, as we all currently have other life commitments such as work and school and this is a side project for fun and for learning.
Support:Any purchases/pre-purchases will be split evenly between the MOM team. During development Moosadee is paying interns Opusbot and Murdoom are getting paid for their work as well.

* None of us have access to a Mac computer, so we may have to rely on a friend or volunteer to make a Mac build. This build will be made available but not as well supported as the other platforms (e.g., access to updates will be slower).
